Miche Pistard Air crankset

Miche Pistard Air crankset

Introduced to the track market in 2017, the Miche Pistard Air crankset has been designed to enhance rigidity and aerodynamics with an integrated 24mm Evo Max axle & outboard bearing bottom bracket system.

The Pistard Air is a more aerodynamic version of the Miche Pistard 2.0 crankset with seamless linkage between crank, chainring and bottom bracket.

Available in 165mm and 170mm lengths with a 49t x 1/8" chainring.

Miche Evo Max bottom bracket is required and sold separately.

Ā

FYI: "Pistard" translates to "track cyclist" or "track racer" in English, referring to a cyclist who competes in velodrome events. The term is used in several languages, including French, Italian, and Dutch. There, you learned something today.

Specifications

• 144mm bcd

• forged 6082-AL arms w/Ā  7075-AL T6 chainring (1/8")

• length: 165mm, 170mm

• chainline: 42mm

• weight: 785g (165mm)

Installation instructions

An instruction manual is included with the crankset, but we're posting it here too because proper installation is critical.

Miche Pistard Air/Pistard 2.0 Installation Manual

If you break the included non drive-side compensator ring during installation or service (and you probably will because they break very easily), a 1mm bottom bracket cup spacer can be used in its place. Do not use this crankset without the compensator ring or spacer of equal thickness.
